Mayer am Pfarrplatz
“Mayer am Pfarrplatz” is one the most renowned Viennese Heurigen. It has been producing the best Viennese wines since 1683. In 1817, Ludwig van Beethoven lived in the suburban home on Pfarrplatz and worked on his greatest creation: Symphony No. 9., today also known as the official Anthem of the European Union. In order to continue talking about volunteering issues or do some networking we decided to bring some of this Heurigen culture to the conference and transferred the participants to the cosy premises of the Mayer am Pfarrplatz where we had an extensive hot and cold buffet with homemade seasonal Viennese specialties and some glasses of excellent wine.
